Same trusted FreeStyle Optium blood β-ketone test strips, sold without the retail outer box to keep the cost down — each strip is still individually foil-sealed, so quality and shelf life aren't affected, just the packaging around the set. For in vitro diagnostic use, suited to both self-testing and clinical use, and compatible with the FreeStyle Optium Neo, FreeStyle Optium, Optium Xceed, and Optium meters.

No coding step before testing — go straight from strip to result. The individual foil wrap on each strip protects against air and moisture, exactly as it would inside the retail box.

Testing is fast: a 1.5 µl blood sample gives a result in 10 seconds, and the strip's fill-trigger only starts the test once enough blood has been applied, cutting down on wasted strips. Top-fill or end-fill application gives a visual confirmation as you go.

Do not use out-of-date test strips. Check the expiry date printed on the test strip box and on every test strip foil packet. If only the year and month are printed on the test strip, then the expiry date is the last day of the month. Do not use a test strip that is wet or damaged.
